1. I worked on space-based near field imaging of the ground under contract for the Navel Research Labs. This turns out to be amenable to the same sort of approach that we used in w projection. CASA supports this option. The (unpublished) report is here.

2. I recently worked on the calibration of the SKA1-LOW telescope. This work has a followup memo that contains method improvements, response to comments, and a new, more efficient, calibration algorithm.

3. As part of continual up-skilling, I'm working on optimisation and parallelisation in python. My work for project 1 used pymp for parallelisation over multiple cores. For RASCIL I have made extended use of Dask.
